Joseph "ceL" Atwell
Board of Directors
Hello, I’m ceL.
I serve on the Board of Directors for Good Game Family, where I help support marketing, development, and community growth. Gaming has been a major part of my life, with experience across FPS, MMOs, MTG, battle royales, roguelikes, and many other genres.
That broad gaming background continues to shape how I connect with players and communities.
Prior to joining Good Game Family, I played a key role within an esports organization, helping organize tournaments, support community initiatives, and create positive experiences for players. I enjoy finding ways to bring people together, encourage growth, and help build environments where gamers can thrive.
Good Game Family represents the kind of competitive environment I grew up valuing; one built on teamwork, integrity, and shared experiences. From competing in Counter-Strike to helping build gaming communities, I’ve always been drawn to spaces where competition and connection can coexist. What drew me to this mission was the opportunity to help create meaningful experiences for players and families because gaming had a positive impact on my own life.
One of my favorite gaming memories was playing for False Reality, where our team went undefeated in an online tournament while continuing to compete together on LAN. That run led to a sponsor and a trip to Texas for the finals, an experience I’ll never forget.
These days, CS2 remains my favorite game. When I’m not gaming, you’ll usually find me snowboarding, reaching for a healthy snack, or spending time with my dog, Zeus.
