Lewis has been a lifelong gamer while teaching others how to play along the way. Some games that he has played competitively include League of Legends and Starcraft 2, while he enjoys playing games such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Destiny, for fun.
Prior to his time in Prescott, Lewis served as a life coach and case worker for Aspiranet in Camarillo, California, from 2018-20. From 2017-18, Lewis also resided in Camarillo as a special education substitute teacher at the Ventura County Office of Education.Â
Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2016 from California State University Channel Islands where he was also a research assistant from 2015-17. Prior to that, Lewis earned his associates degree in sociology in 2013 from Orange Coast Community College.Â
Lewis became the first E-Sports Coach in Yavapai College history in December of 2021. In the spring of 2022, E-Sports began its inaugural season at YC and in 2023, Lewis guided the program to its first National Championship after Champion Reifenkugel won the NJCAA E-Sports Hearthstone National Championship.
In the fall of 2023, Lewis guided his Rocket League team to an NJCAA E-Sports Open Division National Championship.
Lewis currently works at a local hospice company as the office manager where he assists patients in receiving end of life comfort care. Â
