DreamHack Dallas 2025: A Weekend That Redefined What Community Gaming Looks Like

Good Game Family’s full DreamHack Dallas 2025 crew gathered in front of the charity booth, wearing branded jerseys and showcasing the community spirit behind the event.

DreamHack Dallas 2025 was more than a convention—it was a milestone. For Good Game Family, it marked a defining moment in our journey as a nonprofit gaming organization grounded in community, kindness, and purpose.

From the moment our team hit the road, we knew this would be big. But what unfolded across three days on the convention floor was nothing short of legendary.

The Booth That Brought People Together

We were honored to be selected for an official Charity Booth Activation—and we made every moment count.

Kindness is Meta wristbands - Passed out at the booth to attendees.

Our booth served as a hub for positivity and connection, giving out over 1,000 wristbands and stickers stamped with our message: Kindness Is Meta. We distributed mental health pamphlets from our friends at To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) and connected with countless attendees who resonated with our mission.

Tournaments, Giveaways & Big Wins

We ran a three-day CS2 1v1 Aim Challenge, drawing in nearly 200 participants across the weekend. Finals were held Sunday with custom GGF jerseys, gift cards, and a high-performance AMD CPU on the line.

We also hosted daily giveaways with support from our partners at TRYX, Fansidea, and GPORTAL, distributing gear, swag, and even an ASUS hardware bundle.

But the biggest win of the weekend?

GGF’s Rainbow Six Siege Team Took 1st Place

Our newly sponsored R6 Siege team made their competitive debut—and walked away as champions of the $5,000 SiegeX tournament.

Led by Kwan and backed by players with top-tier experience, the squad proved that with the right support, purpose-driven esports can go head-to-head with the best.

Family at the Core

With over 25 GGF members present—including staff, volunteers, creators, competitors, and families—this event wasn’t just about competition. It was about connection.

We hosted a group photo, led booth operations side-by-side, and took

the main stage to share our story live with attendees. For many of us, this was a first—but it won’t be the last.

What's Next?

We’re not slowing down. DreamHack gave us a glimpse of what’s possible, and now we’re working to scale our impact:

  • Recruiting content creators and stream team applicants

  • Expanding our competitive esports division

  • Building a mental health & gaming education initiative for youth

  • Launching partnerships and custom merch with our supporters

Thank You

To every booth visitor, giveaway entrant, tournament competitor, supporter, sponsor, and teammate—you made this weekend unforgettable.

Together, we’re legendary.
